Dog Adoption
All adoptable dogs are fully vaccinated, and spayed or neutered prior to placement. In cases where a puppy is not yet old enough to be altered, adopters are required to sign a legally binding spay/neuter contract for completion at six months of age. This policy ensures responsible rescue practices and prevents future overpopulation.
Sport
Sport is a super sweet, smart, loyal, 6 year old Border Collie. He was found as a stray, he then lived in shelter for 2 years, then got placed on the euthanasia list because his time had run out. We adopted Sport off the E list and were immediately amazed that he was such a good boy, who did not seem scarred by his past experiences. He just loves to hang out with everyone, the dogs and the people. He really loves to play fetch, and could probably play until your arm fell off. He also loves to run and play with the other sanctuary dogs. We are not sure about children or cats, as we have neither here at the sanctuary.

Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea is a 3-year-old sweetheart who truly lives up to her name. She loves all people and gets along great with other dogs. Sally is a 3-year-old Plott Hound with all the wonderful traits her breed is known for. She loves to sniff, explore, and follow her nose, making every walk an adventure. Sally is smart, curious, and full of personality. Like many hounds, she can be an escape artist, so her adopter will need to be extra careful with secure fencing and doors. With the right home that understands hound behavior, Sally will thrive and be a fun, loyal companion.
